A real hidden gem in St Helens! The collection of vintage buses is outstanding, and the volunteers are incredibly knowledgeable about the history of each vehicle. My kids loved climbing aboard the old double-deckers. The 1914 La France fire engine is particularly impressive.

Wonderful trip down memory lane. I remember riding buses just like these when I was young. The museum is housed in the original 1881 tram depot which adds to the atmosphere. Great value at £6 and children go free. The model railway is a nice bonus.
